BIM/VDC Specialist

When you join Design Group as a BIM/VDC Specialist, you are joining a team that will challenge you and position you for growth. In this role, you will work with a team of industry experts to help the world's leading companies solve their most difficult problems. You will join our Architecture/Engineering Process Practice and partner with seasoned leaders, technical specialists, and subject matter experts to deliver the highest quality solutions to our clients with consistency and accuracy.

You'll work individually and in teams to support capital projects and implement solutions for our clients. Together, you will help our clients make critical changes to improve their performance and realize their most important goals.

1. Develop BIM Execution Plans; manage all project phases from concept to production release
2. Act as the lead BIM coordinator for various regional projects
3. Act as the Autodesk Construction Cloud admin for assigned projects
4. Maintain federated BIM models
5. Lead coordination calls with the design team
6. Manage model health and assist with quality assurance
7. Assists engineers in the troubleshooting of production, software, and standardization issues
8. Perform maintenance of CAD files in response to engineering changes
9. Make an impact day-to-day with your skills and expertise, strengthening that relationship with our clients and team

What You'll Bring

• A minimum of 4 years of experience leading BIM coordination for multi-discipline design projects
• Familiarity with the manufacturing and food and beverage, and Life Science market sectors
• A high level of proficiency with Autodesk BIM tools including Revit, Navisworks, ReCap, and Forma/Autodesk Construction Cloud
• A strong background in working with point cloud data
• Familiarity with BIM tools such as CTC Tools, RF Tools, Content Catalog, Shared Parameters, & PyRevit
• A solid understanding of all involved project disciplines including construction and administration
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, verbal and written
• Experience in facilitating meetings and training events
• An associate's degree in engineering, computer-aided drafting, or a related field
• A bachelor of science in engineering (preferred)
• An Autodesk/BIM Certification (preferred)
