Job Summary:

Speechify is a company dedicated to transforming reading through innovative text-to-speech technology, serving over 30 million users globally. They are seeking a Software Engineer for their AI Studio to build and maintain features that enhance user experiences with AI-generated voiceovers and dubbing. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess strong technical skills, particularly in service architectures and modern development frameworks.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain Speechify's Creator Studio found at speechify.com/studio

• Integrate AI models to provide state of the art voiceovers, dubbing, voice cloning and more

Qualifications:

Required:

• Experience with AWS/GCS and be able to build service architectures leveraging these services

• Experience building scalable architectures using micro services

• Experience writing testable code and pushing the bar higher on testing infrastructure

• Proficiency with React and modern React stack, or NodeJS, or both

• Understanding low-level JS and be able to profile and optimize SPA FE/backend performance

Preferred:

• video and audio processing experience
