Home Study Case Worker/Post-Release Service (PRS) Regional Supervisor/Lead Case Manager

Required language proficiency. MUST HAVE ORR EXPERIENCE - WORKING WITH IMMIGRANT POPULATION AND SUPERVISION Experience working with immigrant populations and supervisory responsibilities.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Directly supervises Home Study Post‑Release Service (PRS) Supervisors and develops policies/procedures for the program. Collaborate with Program Director to monitor and manage caseloads. Responsibilities also include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems, performing clinical assessments, and facilitating crisis management.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

Supervision of Case Management of Services: Supervise activities related to Home Studies (HS) and Post Release Services (PRS) of UACs with sponsors in accordance with VDM procedures and U.S. HHS ORR regulations. Manage Assignment of Home Studies and Post Release Services: Oversee the assignment of referrals, training new staff, and supervising the work of Post Release Services and Home Study Case Worker Supervisors. Case Management Support: Provide supplemental support during influx by conducting home studies and offering post‑release services to UACs, facilitating access to education, medical care, mental health services, legal assistance, and resources. Documentation: Ensure accurate and up-to-date case records, progress notes, and reports, complying with legal and regulatory requirements. Training and Development: Maintain expertise of VDM and ORR policies, stay informed of immigration policy changes, and provide leadership for HS/PRS program safety and well‑being. Community Partnerships: Collaborate with community social services providers and resources to enhance the support network for unaccompanied children and sponsors. Education and Experience Master’s in behavioral sciences, human services, social services or a bachelor’s with at least 5 years of progressive (including supervisory) experience in case management. Work Environment High noise level in office and while driving. Workspace large office; driving on city streets; frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Salary $91,000 - $92,820 annually.
