As a Security Officer Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Jacksonville, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a government port location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials or permissions when required, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations according to site guidelines.
• Support access control and security-related operations at a port-related location, remaining attentive to changing conditions, vehicle traffic, and/or restricted areas during assigned shifts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A TSA issued TWIC is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
