Tax Compliance & Reporting

• Lead all US and Canadian corporate income tax compliance activities
• Oversee tax provisions, tax returns, estimated payments, and tax account reconciliations
• Manage cross-border reporting, transfer pricing, BEAT, Pillar Two, and country-by-country reporting
• Lead federal, state, provincial, and indirect tax audits

Indirect Tax

• Oversee sales & use tax, property tax, and other indirect tax compliance requirements
• Manage indirect tax planning, reporting, audits, and appeals

Tax Strategy & Planning

• Identify and execute tax planning opportunities
• Support acquisitions, integrations, reorganizations, and other strategic business initiatives
• Evaluate and optimize tax credits, incentives, and R&D claims
• Monitor legislative developments and advise leadership on tax impacts

Financial Reporting & Controls

• Support tax-related financial reporting, disclosures, forecasting, and modelling
• Maintain a strong SOX-compliant control environment
• Drive process improvements, automation, and operational efficiencies

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead and develop tax teams across the US and Canada
• Coach, mentor, and build a high-performance tax organisation
• Manage relationships with external advisors and service providers

Cross-Functional & Global Partnership

• Partner with finance, operations, and executive leadership on key business decisions
• Collaborate with teams across North America and internationally on tax and business initiatives
• Provide tax leadership to support growth, risk management, and value creation across the organisation
