- Handle and store all food according to facility procedures and safe food handling guidelines
- Assist with food preparation as assigned by supervisor
- Prepare food items according to standardized recipes insuring safe food handling practices
- Assist with the set-up of the food tray line
- Assemble diet trays and deliver tray carts to dining areas or to units
- Clean dishes, utensils and equipment according to facility procedures
- Assist in dishwashing operation and cleaning tasks
- Minimum high school diploma or general education degree (GED),
- Prefer one year experience as a food service aide in an institutional food service setting.
