Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP, CCC) providing essential support across multiple schools and programs. This full-time, contract position brings you the chance to work in various educational settings throughout the area, engaging with diverse student populations and making a tangible impact on their communication skills and academic success.
You’ll have the flexibility of an itinerant role, collaborating with educators and specialists across several locations. Multiple caseloads are available, giving you the option to tailor your experience and work with different age groups and needs. Your expertise will contribute directly to helping students overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- California SLP licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
- Recent school-based SLP experience is strongly preferred
- Experience managing multiple caseloads and working across various school sites
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Candidates with SLPA-only or strictly teletherapy (“Voco”) backgrounds will not be considered
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for K–12 students
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and administrators
- Maintain and document progress reports, IEPs, and related records
- Consult with families to support student success both in and out of the classroom
- Provide support and guidance throughout County Office of Ed and Amador Unified programs
