Responsibilities Perform a vital part in processing and preparing specimens to be sent out to different reference labs. Identifies specimen issues and, in some cases, may resolve issues with specimen types. Work in a fast‑paced laboratory environment with biological and chemical hazards. Champion safety, compliance, and quality control. Qualifications At minimum an associate’s degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution. 1 year of laboratory training or experience performing high‑complexity testing.
