Clinical Lab Scientist

Terms I am at least 18 years old I am legally authorized to work in the United States 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (Various Shifts Available) Spherion is recruiting Clinical Lab Scientists to join a local, industry leader in their mission dedicated to the eradication of cancer. As a Clinical Lab Scientist, you will perform moderate to high complexity testing in a lab environment while following a highly regulated process. Highlights 36 hours a week on all available shifts. $27.40/hour plus shift differentials. Contract with potential to become permanent. Shift Available Sat.- Mon.:6pm-6:30am Sat- Mon :6am- 6:30pm 1st, 2nd, 3rd may also be available by waitlist Responsibilities Follow operating procedures, perform complex testing and analysis of clinical specimens Perform, review, and document quality control procedures with accuracy Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment Prepare reagents required for laboratory testing Identify and troubleshoot basic problems that affect test performance Maintain a sufficient inventory of laboratory supplies for daily operations Maintain quality, identify issues that might impact quality, and communicate concerns to the appropriate manager Manage daily test processing needs along with project needs in a high-quality, efficient, and effective manner Review, interpret, and approve patient results as needed Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in science field, preferably Biology or Chemistry OR Required credits- 6 in Biology, 6 in Chemistry and 24+ in total combined. Able to work in the U.S. Confidentiality as you will be working with patient medical information Excellent attention to detail Preferred Skills Experience in molecular testing or previous experience as a Scientist
