Minister of Youth & Outreach

Main Street Baptist Church of Greenfield Missouri is prayerfully seeking a Full-Time Youth & Outreach Minister to come alongside a growing church that has a burden to reach & disciple their community with the Good News of Jesus Christ.  We are a body of believers who love the Lord, His word, His children and seek to please Him in all that we do.  We believe that everything we need in order to know and to follow God can be found in His word, the Holy Bible.  We agree to the 2000 Baptist Faith & Message and are an active part of our local association as well as the MBC convention.  Greenfield is a small community located 45 miles west of Springfield Mo. in the beautiful Southwest part of our great state.  Our church has a good and growing mixture of both young and old who are excited to see what God is going to do through His church in the coming years.  Our church family tends to run in the 150’s on Sunday morning with 15-30 in the youth department regularly.  Salary, 35-55 thousand per year and based according to personal qualifications and experience.  Are you being called by the Lord to join this great work?   If so, please send your questions, cover letter, resume & references to    [email protected]

Basic qualifications; 

1-     Personal Holiness;  As seen in their public and private lives by a love for the Lord, His word and His people.  Daily seeking to grow in sanctification while dying to self and calling others to do the same.

2-     Philosophy of life and ministry; To know who they are and what their goals in life and the Lord’s work are.  To be able to communicate their philosophy in word and deed.   

3-     Apt to teach;  To be growing in their ability and practice of teaching the word of God.  Knowing the word of God personally and being able to teach others how to filter the culture through the unchanging, all sufficient and authoritative Scripture.

4-     Be a team player;  Able and willing to recruit, train and encourage quality volunteers from with-in the church family.   To be seen and known as humble, teachable, accountable and approachable by both the youth and their parents.   Always seeking to unify the church by helping the youth and the adults to partner together in the work of the Lord.    One body, one bride through one faith in Jesus Christ.
