About the Position

Seeking an experienced PACU RN to join a high-acuity, fast-paced recovery unit at a major Level I Trauma Center. This position supports adult, geriatric, and occasional adolescent post-op patients from a wide range of surgical specialties, including neuro, ortho, trauma, vascular, GYN, urology, IR, and transplant (excluding open heart and liver). The night shift team also assists in prepping pre-op patients.

Requirements

Experience: 2–3 years of Level I ICU experience required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Skills:

• Phase I PACU
• Critical care, dysrhythmia management, blood product admin
• Phlebotomy, IV insertion, vasoactive drugs, ICP monitoring
• Care of ventilated patients
  License: Active RN license or pending (Compact accepted)
  First-Time Travelers: Accepted
