Overview Shangri-La Springs, in the heart of downtown Bonita Springs, is a historic center for vitality through healing arts and nature. That ethos permeates all aspects of the property, from the full-service organic spa to the certified organic farm-to‑table restaurant that utilizes produce grown on the property itself. Responsibilities Prepare and cook delicious dishes in the kitchen according to recipes. Set up workstations and organize ingredients to ensure food can be prepared efficiently. Wash and chop vegetables, cut meat, and perform other basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces and parboiling food. Prepare dishes for service. Label and stock all ingredients on shelves for easy access. Carry out other duties as assigned by the manager. Qualifications Cooking experience required. High school diploma preferred. Maintain a positive, customer‑service focused attitude. Be self‑directed and able to give and receive direction clearly. This position entails physical labor consistent with working in a hotel restaurant, including standing for prolonged periods, stair climbing, and lifting, pulling, or pushing items up to 50 lbs. Harvest & Wisdom café is open for brunch. Must have early‑day availability, although flexibility is appreciated. Schedule will be determined in conjunction with the Chef, but the Line Cook can expect to work weekends and a few nights. Department: Restaurant This is a non‑management position.
