Surgical Tech Adjunct Instructor

Responsibilities Assist and monitor students in clinical and/or lab experiences. Coordinate and assist with clinical courses required in accordance with the established syllabi. Assess students in their affective, cognitive, and psychomotor skills as well as surgical technology. Work with clinical preceptors to assure accurate and timely submission of evaluations. Ensure safe practices for surgical technology students. Evaluate and monitor student performance. Qualifications Associate degree required. Graduate of an education program in surgical technology accredited by a nationally recognized programmatic accreditation agency. Possess a CST credential in the field of surgical technology through a national certification program accredited by the National Commission on Certifying Agencies (NCCA). Minimum total of two years of experience, either in an operating room scrub role or as an instructor in surgical technology, or a combination, within the past five years.
