Unit notes: Surgical techs must have ortho experience, robotics is a plus; must have WA license at time of submittal. Clinical profile review and the manager will call for the interview. Unit OR notes obtained by phone implementation 6/9/2021 with Amber Gibson RN, Courtney Heller, Simonne Stofer RN and Charlotte Chiddister Surgical Services Manager. # suites technically 9 rooms, utilizing 6, two of which are specialty rooms (Cysto and Robotics). # of cases per day 15 avg, may start with less and take add ons. Certifications/tech certified RN- BLS, ACLS preferred, WA license, CST- BLS, certified through NBSTSA preferred, WA license EMR EPIC Charge Nurse Yes, no charge when on call. Weekend/call requirement - RNs and CSTs call is approx. 1 shift per weekday. For weekend call, there is a rotation with the team so depends on staffing. Usually one weekend a month, possibly more. What is call response time? 30 minutes. Holidays rotation with perm staff. Scrub color/provided. Tele OR nurses not required. Anesthesia to read. Surgeon on call hours surgeon on call at night. IV team yes RT 24/7 yes. Pharmacy 24/7 until 11 pm. Shifts 5/8s, 0645-1515, with call. Floating no. Floor specific orientation maximum of 3 days- depends on the skill set. Common types of cases 60% ortho and podiatry. General, GYN, robotics and spines. Scrubbing required - RNs no. Additional notes seeking someone with a positive attitude and a team player. Prefer someone with robotics experience or who is willing to learn.
