This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on electronics or electro-mechanical assembly experience who is looking to build their skills and grow into a long-term position.In this role, you will assemble and test electronic hardware, sub-assemblies, and finished products. You'll work from detailed wiring diagrams, drawings, parts lists, and work instructions while using a variety of hand tools, power tools, meters, and measuring equipment.What You'll DoAssemble electronic and electro-mechanical hardware using hand and power toolsAssemble individual components, sub-assemblies, and completed productsPerform testing and calibration of electronic assemblies using meters and other measuring devicesRead and follow wiring diagrams, drawings, parts lists, cable diagrams, and detailed work instructionsPerform precision cleaning and preparation of components prior to assembly or useInspect completed assemblies and verify they meet established testing and quality requirementsHand solder and wire electrical components as neededCrimp wires and electrical connectionsMaintain accurate and organized work areasFollow established workmanship, testing, and quality proceduresMaintain a clean, organized workspace to support safety and production efficiencyQualificationsRequired:High school diploma plus relevant electronics training/certificate, or 2+ years of relevant electronics assembly experienceHands-on electro-mechanical assembly experienceAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, parts lists, and cable diagramsAbility to follow detailed written work instructions and proceduresBasic proficiency with Microsoft OfficeStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work carefully and accurately in a hands-on production environmentPreferred:1–3 years of GMP/GLP experienceExperience with hand soldering and electrical wiringExperience with wire crimpingAbility to give and receive constructive feedbackSelf-motivated and dependable work styleStrong attention to detail and interpersonal skillsPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, sit, reach, bend, kneel, and squat as neededAbility to remain stationary and perform detailed work for extended periodsStrong fine-motor skills and visual attention to detailAbility to visually inspect components and assemblies for defectsAbility to lift and carry up to 50 poundsAbility to read, write, and interpret technical informationOccasional exposure to compressed airWhy Consider This Opportunity?This temp-to-perm position offers the opportunity to get your foot in the door with an established organization while putting your electronics assembly and electro-mechanical skills to work.
