Registered Nurse (RN) Medical-SurgicalJob Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 24 months Med/Surg experience with recent experience in the last 12 months License: Active license to practice verified in the last 30 days Certifications: Active BLS certification from an approved vendor Active NIHSS certification from an approved vendor Must-Have: Candidates must be proficient in caring for medical, oncology, and telemetry patients. Candidates must be able to read telemetry strips. Candidates must have no hits on state license to practice. Candidates must have a driver's license to verify residency. Candidates must complete a Med/Surg skills checklist in the last 12 months. Candidates must have life support certifications from an approved vendor. Description: Navy scrubs are required. Candidates are expected to float to support other campuses if needed. Every other weekend and holidays are required per unit rotation. Candidates must be flexible with locations, shifts, and departments to secure an offer. Candidates must be able to start on the listed start date or no more than one week later. Requests for time off cannot exceed 7 days and there can be no requests during the first week of the assignment. All candidates submitted should be pre-closed and ready to accept. Immediate communication is required if a candidate withdraws or is no longer available. Travel experience is highly preferred.
