Receptionist

  Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a Receptionist for Pilgrim’s in Lufkin, Texas.

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Receptionist to g reet, identify, and direct visitors. Maintains a log of visitors. Alerts appropriate party of visitor arrival. Arranges for escort as appropriate. May provide clerical assistance such as typing, data entry and daily reports.   Responsibilities:

• Operates a telephone switchboard or console system to relay incoming, outgoing, and intersystem calls.
• Greets visitors, determines the nature of visitors' business, and provides appropriate information.
• Keeps a log of visitors and/or issues visitor passes.
• Takes messages, may make future appointments, and/or maintain appointment log.
• Performs incidental clerical work that requires typing, sorting, or collating capability.

  What You’ll Need:

• Follow instructions, with minimal problem solving. 
• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED). 
• Works under close supervision of simple, routine duties.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred (Word, Excel, etc)
• SAP experience preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external partners
• Able to work evenings and weekends as required
