Job Full Description

Express Employment Garland has partnered with a company in Garland, TX to actively recruit CDL-A Drivers to join their team!

Responsibilities:

Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections; report and address any mechanical issues
Safely operate tractor-trailer, adhering to all federal, state, and company regulations
Load, unload, and secure freight using hand trucks, pallet jacks, straps, and other equipment
Verify load manifests, count items, and inspect cargo for damage
Complete driver logs, fuel receipts, and delivery paperwork accurately and timely
Plan routes and meet delivery schedules while optimizing fuel efficiency.

Qualifications:

Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
1 + years of OTR or regional driving experience preferred
Familiarity with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and hours-of-service rules
Open Trailers and strapping own loads
Ability to safely lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift
Basic skills operating manual and powered material-handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks)

Schedule : Monday-Friday - 6 AM to 2:30 PM

Pay : $20+/HR (DOE)
