Job Full Description Express Employment Garland has partnered with a company in Garland, TX to actively recruit CDL-A Drivers to join their team! Responsibilities:
Schedule : Monday-Friday - 6 AM to 2:30 PM
Pay : $20+/HR (DOE)

- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections; report and address any mechanical issues
- Safely operate tractor-trailer, adhering to all federal, state, and company regulations
- Load, unload, and secure freight using hand trucks, pallet jacks, straps, and other equipment
- Verify load manifests, count items, and inspect cargo for damage
- Complete driver logs, fuel receipts, and delivery paperwork accurately and timely
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules while optimizing fuel efficiency.
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- 1 + years of OTR or regional driving experience preferred
- Familiarity with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and hours-of-service rules
- Open Trailers and strapping own loads
- Ability to safely lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift
- Basic skills operating manual and powered material-handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks)
