Job Title: 1st Shift Material Handler
Pay: $18.50/hour
Hours: 5:00 am to 3:30 PM, Monday-Friday, Day shift
Start Date: ASAP

As a Material Handler, you'll support daily production activities by efficiently moving materials, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and collaborating closely with your team to meet operational goals. What You'll Do
As a 1st Shift Material Handler, you will be responsible for:
• Moving materials throughout the plant using shakers, screens, forklifts, and other equipment to support production.
• Performing housekeeping duties such as sweeping, shoveling, and scraping to keep the work area organized and safe.
• Ensuring walkways and work zones are free of obstructions to promote safety and efficiency.
• Identifying and reporting equipment issues promptly to maintenance teams to prevent delays.
• Assisting with small bag line operations, restacking pallets, and cleaning work areas when needed.
• Meeting daily production targets for both quality and quantity to support the team's success.


What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
• Experience in general labor or related fields preferred, with at least 6 months of experience (not required but a plus).
• The ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely (forklift certification is a plus).
• Physical capability to lift 30 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Comfort working in different conditions, including dusty, hot, cold, or rainy environments.
• Willingness to stand for long periods and climb ladders when needed.
• A safety-conscious mindset and dependable, team-oriented attitude.
