Concrete Carpenter/Foreman

MEMCO is hiring a Concrete Carpenter and a Concrete Foreman in the Eastover, SC area!

• Full-Time
• M-F 7am-3:30pm
• Carpenter Pay: $22/hr
• Foreman Pay: $28/hr

Responsibilities :

• Perform concrete pours, leveling, floating, edging, and final finishing.
• Execute detailed and precise finishing work.
• Build, install, and remove forms for residential foundations, slabs, walls, footings, steps, and other structural elements.
• Read and interpret drawings, elevations, and layout instructions for accurate formwork.
• Set grade, place rebar, and ensure proper reinforcement placement.
• Maintain form integrity, alignment, and quality control throughout the pour and curing process.
• Follow all company and OSHA safety guidelines on active job sites.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members to coordinate pours and formwork.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Report safety hazards, equipment issues, or site concerns promptly.

Qualifications :

• 2+ years' experience in concrete finishing, concrete pouring, and concrete form carpentry.
• Strong knowledge of residential and commercial concrete processes, tools, and techniques.
• Ability to produce high-quality, clean, accurate concrete work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read plans and understand layouts and construction plans
• Physically able to perform construction tasks (standing, bending, lifting 50+ lbs).
• Experience operating or overseeing use of concrete-related equipment (Skid steers, loaders, forklifts, telehandlers, etc.)
• Reliable, safety-focused, and consistent with attendance and communication.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• A pre-employment drug screen will be required for this position.
