Our values-Execute, Protect, Improve, and Character-drive every job we do.Position Overview:The Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs for various HVAC/R systems in commercial settings, while providing exceptional customer service. We do NOT work in DC or Maryland.  Responsibilities:Service and maintain a wide range of commercial HVAC/R systems.Respond to service calls and troubleshoot issues with HVAC/R systems.Utilize diagnostic tools, meters, and gauges to analyze system performance and identify root causes of problems.Develop effective solutions to resolve technical issues and communicate findings and recommended solutions to clients in a clear and concise manner.Performs repairs on commercial HVAC/R systems. Completes necessary paperwork with company issued laptop/tablet.Participates in an on-call rotation. Safely drives company vehicle, follows requirements of company vehicle driving policy and adheres to all safety requirements.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.3+ years of experience as a Service Technician, with the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC/R systems.Universal EPA certification.Manufacturer certifications are a plus. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.Solid understanding of electrical circuits and troubleshooting techniques.Ability to use diagnostic tools, meters, gauges, and other equipment to assess system performance and diagnose issues.Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients.Basic computer skills.Must possess a valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 85 pounds.Comfortable working in various environments, including rooftops and confined spaces.Capable of standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.We Offer:$30 - $60/hr. based on experience, qualifications, and skills.$5,000 sign on bonus for qualified individualsHealth insurance - PPO and HSA plans availableCompany vehicle (take home), gas card, uniforms, tools, iPhone, and iPad On call bonus Training & continued educationEmployee Stock Ownership Plan Annual profit-sharing bonus 401(k) with company matchPaid Vacation TimePaid Parental LeaveSafety incentives and awards - we earn extra PTO for being safe.Paid holidays include New Year's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Christmas.Moore's is an equal opportunity employer. Drug screen and background checks will be performed.
