This role supports a manufacturing organization by providing administrative and coordination support to the sales team. The position focuses on managing customer communications, tracking sales activity, supporting account managers, and ensuring accurate order and reporting processes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Review incoming order and quote requests from assigned sales territory and route them to the appropriate internal departments.
• Assist in researching potential customers and identifying contacts for sales development efforts.
• Send routine customer communications including order confirmations, tracking updates, follow-ups, and general correspondence.
• Maintain awareness of customer needs within the assigned territory and support ongoing account activity.
• Distribute capability information, marketing materials, and sales communications to customers on a scheduled basis.
• Support coordination of customer visits, meetings, and travel arrangements for the Sales Account Manager.
• Collaborate with internal departments and cross-functional teams to support order processing and customer needs.
• Review and track daily sales activity including orders, backorders, and quotes using Excel and internal systems.
• Assist in reviewing weekly and monthly sales reports and maintaining accurate records.

Requirements:

• Availability to work a standard Monday through Friday daytime schedule in an office setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records.
• General computer literacy and ability to learn internal systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
