Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (AWS & Networking)

Job Description
We're looking for a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer who is strong in enterprise networking and passionate about cloud migration and AWS . This is a hands-on senior role where you'll help lead the evolution of our hybrid on-prem + AWS infrastructure , supporting critical healthcare systems in a HIPAA-regulated environment . If you enjoy owning infrastructure design, solving complex network challenges, and modernizing platforms in the cloud - this role is for you.

What You'll Work On

Cloud & AWS (Core Focus)

• Design, deploy,and operate AWS infrastructure with an emphasis on networking,security, and reliability
• Lead andsupport application and infrastructure migrations fromon-prem to AWS (lift-and-shift, re-platforming, hybrid)
• Architect andmanage AWS networking:
• VPCs, subnets,routing
• SecurityGroups, NACLs
• Site-to-siteVPN, client VPN, Direct Connect (as applicable)
• Ensure AWSenvironments meet HIPAA, security, availability, and DRrequirements
• Partner withapplication and platform teams on cloud modernization
• SupportInfrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation experience preferred)

Enterprise Networking

• Design,implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure:
• Layer 2 /Layer 3 switching and routing
• Firewalls,VPNs, wireless, WAN
• Own networksecurity posture using industry best practices
• Troubleshootcomplex connectivity and performance issues across on-prem and cloud
• Optimizenetwork performance for:
• VoIP andcollaboration tools
• Real-time andlatency-sensitive applications
• Multi-site andSD-WAN environments
• Lead networkupgrades, enhancements, and capacity planning

Reliability, Operations & Automation

• Maintain highavailability, performance, and security across hybrid infrastructure
• Managepatching, upgrades, backups, and restores
• Participate indisaster recovery planning and testing
• Improveautomation and repeatability of infrastructure deployments
• Participate ina rotating on-call schedule
• Act as anescalation point during major incidents

Leadership & Collaboration

• Mentor andguide junior engineers
• Lead root causeanalysis and drive long-term fixes
• Collaboratewith Systems, Database, Security, and Application teams
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation and runbook

Requirements

Experience

• 5+ years inenterprise network or infrastructure engineering roles
• 3+ yearshands-on experience with AWS in production environments
• Provenexperience supporting hybrid on-prem + cloud architectures
• Experience inenvironments with:
• Multiple datacenters
• 20+ sites
• 1,000+endpoints
• Experience withSD-WAN technologies
• Strongbackground in disaster recovery and business continuity

Technical Skills

• Strong Layer 3networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, VPNs)
• Hands-onexperience with Palo Alto firewalls
• Ciscoenterprise networking experience (routing, switching, collaboration)
• Solidunderstanding of DNS, TLS/SSL, and identity-related protocols
• VMwarevirtualization experience
• Experience inhealthcare or other regulated environments (HIPAA preferred)
• Epic orhealthcare platform experience is a plus

Nice to Have

• AWS CertifiedSolutions Architect (Associate or Professional)
• CCNP orequivalent networking certification
• Cantonese orMandarin language skills
