We're looking for an exceptional Store Manager to help bring that vision to life at our Alys Beach location along Florida's beautiful 30A.

The Opportunity

We're looking for more than a traditional retail manager.

We're looking for someone who understands that great retail is built through exceptional hospitality, meaningful relationships, strong leadership, and a genuine connection to the surrounding community.

Someone who can lead a team, drive sales, develop loyal customers, build local partnerships, and create experiences that bring people back.

Someone who thinks beyond the four walls of the store.

At Rowan, our Store Managers are not simply responsible for operating a location. They are responsible for growing the business, developing their people, and building the brand within their community.

This role sits at the intersection of sales, leadership, hospitality, marketing, and community.

What You'll Do

1. Drive Sales & Business Performance

Take ownership of the store's performance and consistently work to achieve and exceed sales goals.

• Lead daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance.
• Understand and improve key metrics, including conversion, average order value (AOV), units per transaction (UPT), and customer retention.
• Identify opportunities to grow both new and repeat business.
• Develop and execute strategies that increase store traffic, conversion, and revenue.
• Lead by example as an exceptional seller who can inspire and coach others.

2. Create Exceptional Hospitality & Client Relationships

Build a store experience rooted in genuine hospitality, personal connection, and exceptional service.

• Create an environment where every customer feels welcomed, valued, and remembered.
• Lead clienteling initiatives, including personal outreach, follow-ups, and relationship development.
• Develop strategies that turn first-time visitors into loyal, repeat customers.
• Build meaningful relationships with both local residents and visitors to the 30A community.
• Establish a culture where exceptional service is intentional, consistent, and personal.

3. Lead, Develop & Inspire Your Team

Build a confident, knowledgeable, and high-performing team that represents the heart of Rowan.

• Recruit, hire, train, and develop exceptional team members.
• Establish clear daily direction, priorities, and expectations.
• Lead consistent product knowledge training, sales development, and role-playing exercises.
• Coach team members on selling, hospitality, storytelling, and relationship-building.
• Create a positive, accountable culture where people feel valued and take pride in their work.
• Provide consistent communication, feedback, and performance coaching.

4. Build Community & Local Brand Awareness

Help Rowan become a meaningful part of the Alys Beach and greater 30A community.

• Develop relationships with local restaurants, hotels, businesses, creators, and community organizations.
• Identify and execute partnerships that introduce Rowan to new audiences.
• Help develop and host in-store events, activations, and community experiences.
• Build connections with local residents, seasonal visitors, and returning customers.
• Think creatively about opportunities to grow brand awareness and bring new people into the store.

5. Bring the Rowan Brand to Life

Help make the store a true expression of Rowan's identity, values, and culture.

• Maintain exceptional visual merchandising and store presentation.
• Create a welcoming environment that reflects Rowan's elevated yet approachable aesthetic.
• Collaborate with our marketing and creative teams on local content, storytelling, and activations.
• Identify authentic opportunities to capture and share what's happening in the store and surrounding community.
• Ensure every customer touchpoint reflects the quality and care behind our brand.

6. Own Daily Store Operations

Maintain strong operational standards while keeping the team focused on what matters most: customers, relationships, and results.

• Oversee staffing, scheduling, inventory, and daily store operations.
• Maintain strong communication with Rowan's retail leadership team.
• Manage store expenses and labor responsibly.
• Ensure consistent execution of company standards and procedures.
• Approach challenges proactively with sound judgment, organization, and a solutions-oriented mindset.

• Has a natural sense of hospitality and a passion for exceptional service.
• Is proactive, organized, resourceful, and comfortable taking ownership.

• Has an interest in fashion, lifestyle, branding, and community-building.
• Understands the unique opportunity of serving both local residents and seasonal visitors.
• Is excited about building relationships throughout the 30A community.
• Leads with humility, integrity, accountability, and a genuine desire to serve others.

Experience in premium retail, hospitality, or lifestyle brands is a plus.

Operational Excellence: Maintaining strong store standards, clear communication, and consistent execution.
