Woodard Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineering Drafter with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our growing team. This role focuses on creating precise technical drafts and collaborating on residential, commercial, mixed-use development, and public infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate has a strong background in CAD modeling and a passion for thoughtful design and accurate execution, working closely under the lead civil engineer.

Responsibilities

• Create technical drafting and detailed site plans
• Develop and revise construction drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Collaborate on design and project documentation with engineering teams
• Ensure regulatory compliance in all drafted materials
• Manage revision control and quality assurance processes
• Support documentation preparation for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects
• Maintain attention to detail and accuracy in all deliverables
• Occasionally perform site visits as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in civil engineering drafting
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Skilled in blueprint reading and construction documentation
• Knowledge of surveying fundamentals
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
