About The Role Wayve is pioneering Embodied AI for autonomous driving. As we expand our U.S. footprint, we are looking for a Technical Recruiter to join our team in Sunnyvale. In this hybrid role, you will identify, attract, and hire top‑tier technical talent to support our rapid growth in the Bay Area and beyond. You’ll collaborate closely with hiring managers and leadership to understand business needs and develop robust talent strategies. This role specifically supports our Product & Engineering organizations. Key Responsibilities Full‑Cycle Recruitment: Manage end‑to‑end recruitment, from sourcing and screening to interviewing and extending offers, ensuring equitable hiring practices and diverse talent pipelines. US Market Expansion: Help establish and grow Wayve’s local footprint in the competitive Bay Area market. Candidate Experience: Champion a world‑class candidate experience with transparent, timely communication and constructive feedback. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with hiring managers and Product & Strategy leaders to understand hiring needs and provide consultative guidance. Market Insights: Track industry trends, compensation benchmarks, and the competitive deep‑tech landscape to inform recruitment strategies. Employer Branding: Contribute to localized employer branding initiatives to promote Wayve as a top‑tier employer of choice for AI and autonomous driving talent. Data‑Driven Recruitment: Use ATS and recruitment analytics to track metrics, identify bottlenecks, and optimize the hiring workflow. About You 5+ years of technical recruitment experience, ideally in deep tech, AI, autonomous vehicles, or fast‑paced startups. Strong understanding of technical and product‑focused roles and the ability to assess specialized skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for building trust with candidates and senior stakeholders. Meticulous attention to detail, strong time management, and the ability to juggle multiple high‑priority roles. Data fluency: proficiency in leveraging data to track progress and report recruitment metrics. Team spirit: a collaborative player who thrives in a highly cooperative environment. Compensation & Benefits This full‑time position is based in Sunnyvale, CA (hybrid). The estimated salary range is $123,000 to $175,000, plus a competitive equity package. Compensation is based on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
