Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist

Join our team at Jackson HealthPros as a Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist where you'll function as a member of a cardiac team, expertly assisting physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures. You'll ensure the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• BLS Certification
• 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Tech in Surgery-Certified (TSC)
• PA Act 31
• PA Act 33
• PA Act 34
• PA Act 73
• Must meet Pennsylvania surgical technologist requirements through one of the following. Completion of a program sponsored by nationally recognized institutional or programmatic accreditation and maintenance of certification. Completion of an appropriate military training program. Maintenance of certification from an accredited program. Employment as a surgical technologist in a health care facility on or before the effective date of the act. Employment as a surgical technologist at another health care facility during the two years before the effective date of the act.
