Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

$1244.40/week - Job Summary: Provide occupational therapy assistant services to patients under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist. Ensure patient care plans are implemented effectively to improve functional outcomes. Responsibilities: Assist in developing and executing patient treatment plans based on the occupational therapist’s instructions. Implement therapeutic activities aimed at enhancing patients’ daily living skills and functional abilities. Monitor patient progress and report observations to the supervising therapist. Maintain accurate documentation of patient sessions and progress notes. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized therapy environment. Support patients emotionally and motivate them throughout their recovery process. Qualifications: Hold an Occupational Therapy Assistant credential or license as required by state regulations. Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrate prior experience or familiarity with pediatric, inpatient, or outpatient therapy settings. Be able to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to respond to patient needs. Maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications.
