This position is responsible for completing a factory-recommended multi-point inspection (MPI) on every vehicle, including recording a professional inspection video that is shared directly with customers to clearly explain vehicle condition and recommended services.Key ResponsibilitiesExpress Maintenance ServicesPerform express maintenance services such as oil and filter changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, fluid services, and basic inspectionsFollow manufacturer guidelines and dealership repair procedures at all timesAccurately document all services and inspection results in the dealership management system (DMS)Multi-Point Inspection & Video ProcessComplete a manufacturer-approved multi-point inspection on every vehicle servicedRecord a clear, professional video inspection highlighting vehicle condition, safety concerns, and maintenance recommendationsCommunicate findings in a customer-friendly manner that builds trust and confidence in the dealershipEnsure inspection results and videos are submitted promptly to service advisors for customer reviewTeam & Customer ExperienceWork closely with service advisors to ensure accurate recommendations and efficient service flowMaintain a professional appearance and communication style consistent with dealership brand standardsContribute to high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores through quality work and transparent communicationSafety, Compliance & Shop StandardsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentProperly use dealership tools, equipment, and inspection technologyAdhere to all dealership, OEM, safety, and environmental policiesQualificationsRequiredHigh school diploma or equivalentValid driver’s license with an acceptable driving recordAutomotive repair and maintenance experience in a professional settingAbility and willingness to appear on video and communicate clearly with customersComfortable using tablets, mobile devices, and dealership software systemsWillingness to complete online and in-person training to obtain Ford CertificationsSkills & CompetenciesStrong attention to detail and quality controlAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environmentProfessional, customer-focused mindsetStrong communication skills, including on-camera explanationsPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 poundsAbility to work in an automotive shop environmentWe are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
