90 Minutes – New Patients & SRP Appointments

Minimum Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in New York and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (as required)
- Strong understanding of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
Preferred Experience
- 0 years of clinical experience
- Familiarity with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
- A desire to continue learning and developing clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care
- Clinical needs as required by the office
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform essential duties as required by the office/doctor with or without reasonable accommodation. Accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential duties.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds occasionally
- Availability to attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically throughout the year
- As part of our commitment to a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement and must be completed before starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in certain states.
