The New Castle, Delaware location is hiring one Warehouse Group Lead  for Inventory  to support the Warehouse department.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the Inventory Team: Oversee the inventory team to ensure accurate and timely processing of inventory data. Ensure all inventory items are properly labeled and stored with the necessary information.
2. Monitor and Record Inventory Levels: Effectively monitor and maintain accurate records of daily inventory levels. Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
3. Manage Inventory Processing: Receive and process inventory items from various sources, ensuring they are entered into the warehouse system accurately. Verify inventory quantities and quality during receiving to maintain inventory integrity.
4. Optimize Storage Space: Supervise the inventory storage area to ensure optimal use of space for efficient sorting and organization of inventory items. Coordinate with the team to maximize storage efficiency and accessibility.
5. Train and Develop Team Members: Provide comprehensive training to new or temporary employees on inventory management procedures, including related safety training. Observe employees' work skills and provide additional training or coaching as necessary to improve performance.
6. Coordinate with Other Teams: Support and coordinate with upstream and downstream teams, from inventory management to outbound logistics, to achieve high-quality output. Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and problem resolution.
7. Inspect and Maintain Inventory Equipment: Inspect and maintain inventory equipment regularly to ensure safe and efficient operation. Promptly report any malfunctions or hazardous situations and submit maintenance or repair requests to the supervisor.
8. Ensure Safety and Compliance: Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for the inventory team. Empower team members to perform daily tasks in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
9. Additional Duties: Flexibly take on any additional tasks or projects assigned by the supervisor while meeting measurable performance standards to contribute to overall operational success.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. 1-2 years of experience working in a warehouse environment preferred.

2. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

3. Ability to understand and consistently apply all policies and procedures.

4. Ability to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment if any is a plus

5. Ability and willingness to coordinate with upstream and downstream workflow to ensure the accuracy of inventory management efficiently.

6. Able to move & lift up to 50 lbs independently and over 50 lbs with assistance

7. Basic knowledge of computer, need to know how to use a computer, keyboard typing
