Mental Health Associate - Days (Adults)

Responsibilities This full-time opportunity in Behavioral Health offers hours per week, full benefits and a day shift schedule. Hours for this position are 7am-7pm with rotating weekends . The Brook Hospital – Dupont, located in Louisville, KY, is an -bed hospital offering a full continuum of inpatient, extended care, partial hospitalization and outpatient services for children and adults. Mental Health Technicians are responsible for completing safety checks on patients, leading a group of patients to activities within the facility, completing vitals, and other tasks associated with safety of the patients. Mental Health Technicians assist the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety. Some college preferred. Years of experience needed – No experience required. Direct patient care experience in a behavioral health setting is preferred. Certifications – Must maintain current CPR certification. Computer skills – Ability to: gain training through web-based programs; participate in employee surveys; enroll in company benefits. Communication – Must possess excellent verbal skills in communicating with patients, coworkers and visitors. Team work – Must be able to actively participate in a treatment team environment.
