ETL SSIS developer

Lead ETL SSIS DeveloperLocation: Purchase, NYDuration: Long Term ContractMain areas of responsibility:Lead team of ETL developers. Provide oversight, work allocation and ensure deliverable consistency, quality and adherence to standards.Understand and analyze requirements to develop, test, configure and deploy complex SSIS packages. Use SQL Server 2005, 2008, 2012 experience to implement robust, maintainable solutions that meet requirements.Troubleshoot SSIS packages to address critical production issues.Design and document ETL solutions for projects, estimate work effort and oversee delivery with the ETL team.Provide best practices and methodologies for ETL development team.Identify improvements to the data warehouse environment. Work with the team to implement these solutions.Qualifications, Skills and Experience:Expert programming knowledge and skills with 5-7 years of SSIS development experience in developing ETL applications.Demonstrated skill and ability in the development of data warehouse applications (SQL Server).Data warehouse development experience using SSIS/SQL best practices including the development of reconciliation and validation frameworks.
