Growing together.As a Specialty Pharmacy Liaison with CPS Solutions, LLC, you will engage directly with patients to coordinate pharmacy services through the health system's specialty pharmacy. Acting as a bridge between patients, providers, and the pharmacy, this role focuses on improving prescription capture, providing follow-up counseling, and ensuring smooth communication. The liaison collaborates closely with the CPS Patient Care Services team and works under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.Pharmacy Location: Located onsite within Mohawk Valley Health System in Utica, NYSchedule: Monday through Friday 8:30am-5pm, 40 hours per weekPrimary Responsibilities:Serve as the primary point of contact between providers, specialty pharmacies, and patients to facilitate timely therapy initiationCoordinate prescription intake and referrals, ensuring accurate transmission of orders and required documentationSupport prior authorizations and benefits investigations, collaborating with payers, pharmacies, and provider officesEducate patients on the specialty pharmacy process, including next steps, timelines, and access expectationsTrack prescription status and therapy progress, proactively resolving access, financial, or logistical barriersCollaborate with clinical and care teams to support adherence, continuity of care, and patient outcomesEnsure compliance with program, regulatory, and organizational requirements, including documentation and reporting standardsPerform medication dispensing activities, including prescription preparation, packaging, labeling, and distribution in accordance with regulatory and organizational standardsYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentRecent work experience as a Pharmacy Technician, ideally in specialty or outpatient settingsPreferred Qualifications:Experience in a health system specialty pharmacy as an in-clinic liaisonExperience supporting clinical pharmacy programs and performing administrative tasks such as prior authorizations and data entryProven solid knowledge of medication regimens, age-specific dosing, and managed care practicesProficiency in pharmacy systems, care management platforms, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $18 - $32 per hour based on full-time employment.
