Location: Malabar, FL Zip code: 32950 Start Date: Immediate Contract: 12 Months Contract to Hire Tags: #EngineeringTechnicianContractorBjobs; #Malabarjobs; Description: Operates and monitors Surface Mount Technology (SMT) equipment used in the assembly of circuit card assemblies and printed circuit boards. Responsibilities include loading feeders, verifying part numbers and setup, supporting solder paste printing, pick-and-place, and reflow processes, and inspecting boards for workmanship or obvious defects. Maintains production flow by responding to machine alarms, replenishing materials, documenting production activity, and following quality, safety, and work instruction requirements. Overall Summary:

• Developing support individual contributor. Works under general supervision.
• Work is less structured within identified boundaries and procedures.
• Identifies problems and issues in straightforward situations.

Nature of Supervision:

• Works under general supervision.
• Less detailed instructions are provided, and moderate peer review is required.

Communication & Influence: *Communicates with contacts typically within the department on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring explanation or interpretation to understand and reach agreement. Innovation & Complexity:

• Follows established process to complete tasks.

Education & Experience:

• Requires developing job knowledge/skills on how to run an SMT line.
• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate's degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
