Department Description The mission of our team is to build, deliver, and support demo environments for use by our solution engineers (SEs). These demo environments incorporate the latest product capabilities. With them, SEs have the baseline to deliver best‑practice demos for Financial Services and enable them to scale, innovate, and provide the best product demonstrations. Role Description We are looking for a strong release manager to join our SE team, responsible for the Financial Services AMER Industry Demo Org. The role owns the demo environment from idea to reality, project‑managing the demo creation process including backlog management, prioritization, storyboarding, validation, build, release communication, and enablement. You will define what is possible, shape AI‑powered demos, open‑source assets, and intelligent agents built for our SE community. Key Job Responsibilities Release Management: Proven success managing cross‑functional, multi‑workstream projects to on‑time completion. Plan and manage releases of FINS industry demo org releases, ensuring timely delivery of changes and enhancements. Coordinate release content and effort based on service requests, third‑party applications, and system updates. Ensure quality control through comprehensive testing and defect resolution processes. Continuously improve release processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Salesforce Product Expertise: Use Salesforce metadata configuration tools to design and deploy custom applications and solutions. Collaborate with developers to integrate Salesforce metadata for seamless deployment. Ensure metadata components align with release plans and business objectives. OmniStudio Expertise: Use Salesforce OmniStudio tools to design and deploy custom applications and solutions. Collaborate with developers to integrate OmniStudio’s capabilities. Ensure OmniStudio components align with release plans and business objectives. Agentforce & AI Experience: Hands‑on experience designing, building, or deploying Agentforce agents within Salesforce environments. Identify opportunities where AI agents enhance demo narratives, automate workflows, or personalize the SE experience. Stay current on Agentforce capabilities, prompt engineering best practices, and evolving AI tooling. Partner with build teams to integrate Agentforce use cases into Financial Services and Healthcare demo orgs. Code Repository & DevOps Management: Own and manage code repositories (GitHub, GitLab, or equivalent) for demo org assets. Champion best practices around pull requests, code reviews, and commit hygiene. Partner with CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and testing of Salesforce metadata, OmniStudio components, and agent configurations. Ensure repositories are organized and accessible for SE contributors. Open Source Asset Creation & Distribution: Lead the creation and curation of open source demo assets, templates, and accelerators. Define standards for packaging, documenting, and versioning open source assets. Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize reusable components for publication. Evaluate AI tooling to generate documentation, release notes, and onboarding guides at scale. Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration: Collaborate with ISS leads, build teams, and internal support teams to align release strategies. Communicate release plans and changes to stakeholders, facilitating approvals and sign‑offs. Salesforce Environment Management: Ensure environments are maintained and available for development, testing, and production. Manage Salesforce build org environments to align with release schedules and business needs. Risk Management: Identify and manage risks related to Salesforce releases. Develop contingency plans to mitigate potential risks and ensure smooth releases. Documentation and Compliance: Maintain detailed release documentation and ensure compliance with organizational standards. Document release procedures, guidelines, and lessons learned. Leverage AI tools to accelerate documentation creation. Basic Requirements B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or MIS. Proven experience as a Release Manager with Salesforce core and OmniStudio experience. Strong understanding of Salesforce development lifecycle and deployment methodologies. Experience and willingness to help with build tasks, as needed. At least one year of hands‑on experience with Salesforce OmniStudio tools (FlexCards, OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures). Hands‑on experience with Git‑based code repositories and collaborative development workflows. Familiarity with Agentforce or equivalent AI agent platforms. Excellent project management and organizational skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Knowledge of Agile and DevOps practices is a plus. Preferred Skills Salesforce certifications (Administrator, OmniStudio Consultant or Developer, Developer). Experience with CI/CD tools and automation (GitHub Actions, Salesforce DX, CumulusCI, or similar). Experience creating or contributing to open source projects. Financial Services Cloud and/or Healthcare Cloud experience. Demonstrated use of AI tools (Agentforce, Copilot, or others) to improve productivity. Benefits details can be found at Compensation In the United States, compensation will be based on location, job level, and experience. The typical base salary range for this position is $182,770 – $244,510 annually. Different ranges apply in certain locations such as California, New York, Boston, Chicago, Seattle, and Washington DC: $201,110 – $269,080 per year. Salary represents base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or other benefits.
