Employment Specialist – Recruiting, Sales & Client Relations

Express Employment Professionals in Wenatchee is hiring a full-time Employment Specialist to join our team.

This is not a quiet desk job. This is a fast-paced recruiting, customer service, sales, and office operations role for someone who is driven, organized, confident, and ready to grow.

The right person will interview job seekers, match candidates with local job opportunities, work with business clients, help fill urgent job orders, support onboarding and payroll, update our database, and help bring in new business through calls, outreach, networking, and relationship building.

We are looking for someone who can handle pressure, communicate clearly, stay organized, use technology well, and take ownership of their work.

What you will do:

• Interview applicants and learn about their skills, experience, goals, and availability
• Match candidates with job openings at local businesses
• Communicate with clients about job orders, candidate submissions, interviews, and placements
• Help fill urgent job orders quickly and accurately
• Make calls, follow up with leads, and help develop new business relationships
• Assist with onboarding, employee paperwork, payroll support, billing details, and assignment updates
• Keep candidate, client, job order, and employee records accurate in our system
• Write professional emails, job postings, candidate notes, and client updates
• Help resolve issues with employees, clients, schedules, and assignments
• Work as part of a team in a busy office where priorities can change quickly

We are looking for someone who has:

• Leadership experience
• Strong customer service skills
• Sales, recruiting, banking, restaurant leadership, retail management, office, HR, payroll, or administrative experience
• Confidence speaking with people in person, by phone, by text, and by email
• Strong computer and technology skills
• Good writing skills and attention to detail
• A stable work history
• The ability to multitask and stay organized
• A competitive mindset and strong work ethic
• The ability to ask good questions, learn quickly, and follow through

• Handled hiring, firing, coaching, scheduling, or employee issues
• Worked in banking, food service management, retail management, sales, customer service, office administration, HR, payroll, or recruiting
• Handled busy, high-pressure situations while staying professional
• Used multiple software systems, databases, spreadsheets, or office programs
• Worked with customers, employees, managers, or business owners

Requirements:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• In-office position in Wenatchee, WA
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable making phone calls and speaking with new people
• Comfortable with sales, outreach, and business development
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office
• Able to type accurately and keep records updated
• Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred, but not required

Compensation and benefits:

• Starting pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience
