TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Chattanooga, Tennessee, 37412!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years ICU experience License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: ICU experience (2 years) Teamwork skills New Graduate RN support Description: The unit consists of 9 beds with patient ratios of 2:1 and 3:1. All staff members are registered nurses. Equipment available includes ventilators, Alaris IV pumps, and GE monitors. The documentation system used is Meditech. Scheduling is self-managed with oversight from the manager, including 3-4 weekend shifts per schedule. All staff are required to float as needed for critical staffing in Med-Surg or Emergency Department. Patient experience requirements include AIDET, Bedside Shift Report (BSSR), and achieving Press Ganey goals of 75%. The unit is certified as a Chest Pain Center with Stroke Accreditation. Advanced skills required include ventilator management, IV drip titration, and arterial line management. Procedures performed on the unit include intubation, central line insertions, and arterial line insertions. The required dress code is navy blue scrubs.
