Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.**What You'll Be Doing*** Operate and monitor asphalt plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient production* Perform routine inspections, basic troubleshooting, and adjustments on plant systems* Coordinate material flow to meet production demands and quality specifications* Complete daily operational logs and communicate issues promptly* Support safe work practices, housekeeping, and team collaboration across the site**What Are We Looking For*** Ability to operate and learn plant systems, controls, and related equipment* Strong awareness of safety practices in industrial or manufacturing settings* Capability to perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and equipment checks* Dependability in following procedures, documentation, and production standards* Effective communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment* Ability to work nights/ weekends as needed**Conditions of Employment*** Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check* Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing**Work Environment*** Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level**What We Offer*** $27 - $32 per hour plus shift differential* Benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision and Retirement* Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidays
