Container Repair Technician

The Container Repair Technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing portable storage containers to ensure they meet safety and quality standards. This hands-on role, operating Monday through Friday from 7 am to 3 pm, is essential to delivering high-quality service and plays a key part in the overall success of operations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect containers for structural damage, wear, and cleanliness.
• Perform repairs including painting, patching, and replacing damaged components.
• Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and parts used.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Assist with loading and unloading containers as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Essential Skills

• Proficient use of hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to inspect containers for structural damage, wear, and cleanliness.
• Capability to perform repairs including painting, patching, and replacing damaged components.
• Experience in maintaining accurate records of inspections and repairs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and repair manuals.
• Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
