Position: Occupational Therapist (OT), Outpatient

More about our team: Phelps Health Outpatient Therapy Services located in Waynesville Mo, is a full-service outpatient center for pediatric patients, adolescents and adults, including physical, occupational and speech therapy. We serve Waynesville and the surrounding communities in south-central Missouri. Bioness - Award-winning medical devices designed to benefit people with stroke, Multiple sclerosis (MS), traumatic brain injury (TBI), cerebral palsy and spinal cord injury Our Unit is a very fast-paced yet fun environment with endless opportunities to learn and grow! What we're looking for: We are looking for a dynamic Occupational Therapist who is passionate about helping others and is a team player! • Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program • Current and unrestricted Occupational Therapy license in the state where services are rendered • Current CPR certification • Strong organizational and communication skills • Accepting new Grads Why join us We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care. What you will do in this role : • Develop a specialized treatment plan to help him/her achieve as much as possible in regaining his/her well-being through exercise and/or use of prosthetic and orthotic devices. You and your staff will play an important role in his/her recovery • Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; instruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs • Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements • Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition • Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the standards of the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standards and applicable state/federal laws • Other duties as assigned EEOC Statement Lifepoint Rehabilitation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
