Direct Counsel is seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney to join a highly respected Am Law firm.
Location: Portland, Oregon
Practice Area: Real Estate
Experience: 3–6 years
Compensation: $250,000–$340,000
This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 3–6 years of sophisticated transactional real estate experience , particularly involving finance, acquisitions, and dispositions , to join the firm’s Portland office .
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience handling:
- Commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions
- Real estate finance transactions
- Loan documentation and closing support
- Title and survey review
- Due diligence and transaction management
- Drafting and negotiating core transaction documents
- Managing significant workstreams with meaningful autonomy
Leasing and joint venture experience is a plus , though not required.
Candidates should bring:
- Strong commercial real estate transactional knowledge
- Excellent drafting, writing, and analytical skills
- Immediate transferable deal experience
- Strong academic credentials
- Active Oregon Bar admission required
- California or Washington Bar admission is a plus
