Description

American Traveler is hiring a night-shift MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience and Siemens scanner proficiency to perform neuro, MSK, and abdominal imaging in a hospital setting.

Details

• Hospital-based MRI unit with 2 Siemens Aera 1.5T scanners
• Performs neuro, MSK, and abdominal scans, plus specialty exams including breasts, enterography, and pacemaker patients
• Does not perform cardiac, prostate, CSF flow studies, or MSA extremities
• Regularly scans ICU patients using MRI-safe ventilator, IVAC, and monitoring equipment
• Does not perform conscious sedation
• Uses EPIC EMR
• 4x9.5 hour night shifts from 9:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Every 3rd weekend required, with holidays as assigned
• Call requirements include 3 weekday day shifts per month and 1 weekend call every 12 weeks
• Travelers are first to float

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience (candidates with 1.5 years of strong Level I or large hospital experience may be considered)
• ARRT certification or NMTCB certification required
• BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Experience with Siemens scanners required
• Cardiac experience strongly preferred
• Experience with IV starts strongly preferred
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Trauma Level I hospital experience preferred
• Teaching and community hospital experience preferred

Additional Information

• Charcoal grey scrubs required
• Free parking available in any unrestricted space with no pass required
• Every other weekend and every other holiday coverage required
• More than one call-off may result in termination, and no call/no show results in immediate termination
• Candidates must live more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel assignment
• Maximum RTO of 10 days per contract, with no RTO allowed during initial weeks of assignment
• Previous OhioHealth employees must have a 366-day separation before returning as a traveler
• PRN employees may not accept travel assignments while actively employed PRN
