Position Overview

Responsibilities Include:

• Conducting various ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritizing patient comfort and safety during procedures by explaining each phase with compassion and clarity
• Working closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic outputs
• Operating and maintaining imaging equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Documenting procedures accurately and maintaining patient records in the electronic medical system
• Keeping abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and protocols

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Needed

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
