Responsibilities Prepare and assemble high-quality pizzas following our recipes and standards Operate and maintain wood-fired pizza ovens, ensuring proper temperature and cooking times Monitor and rotate pizza dough to maintain freshness and quality Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient execution of pizza orders Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and hygienic work environment Collaborate with other culinary team members to develop new pizza flavors and specials Qualifications Must be able to speak clearly and understand basic English to facilitate the communication process. Ability to learn menu items and service procedures. Ability to take direction and to work in a team environment. Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure. Ability to learn and follow processes. Previous pizza making experience preferred Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 10–12 hours per shift) during food preparation and service Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds (e.g., bulk ingredients, trays, equipment) Ability to perform frequent bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, and repetitive motions while preparing pizzas Ability to safely work in a hot, humid, and fast-paced kitchen environment, including near pizza ovens Visual and manual dexterity to monitor food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and safety standards Who We Are Thompson Hospitality is one of the largest restaurants, food service, and facilities management companies in the country.
