Full-time, but open to a schedule of 2436 hours per week over 35 days. Weekend rotation once per month (4-6 hours).

Responsible for the evaluation, planning, documentation, and delivery of care in the acute care, transitional care, and inpatient rehab settings, with possible work in other areas as appropriate and desired. Evaluates and treats patients in a manner that promotes quality patient care. Maintains appropriate records for patients including patient charges and timely progress notes. Supervises and instructs Physical Therapy Assistant and technicians in patient treatment provided in the Rehab Services. Demonstrates positive interpersonal relations in dealing with patients, patient's family, and visitors so they will perceive a positive rehabilitation experience. Demonstrates positive interpersonal relations in dealing with co-workers, physicians, and other members of the hospital staff as to promote efficient and to provide quality patient care.

Requires full range of body motion including manual and finger dexterity, eye hand coordination, standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds and assists in patient transfers. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires working under stressful conditions. Flexibility in scheduling to meet department needs.

B. S. degree or certificate of Physical Therapy from a program approved by the APTA. Licensed to practice professional Physical Therapy in the State of Ohio. Previous experience is preferred, but not required.
