Surgical Technologist Cardiovascular Operating Room

Schedule: 5x8 days

Assignment Details: Minimum of 2 years of experience required

Requirements:

• North Dakota License as Unlicensed Assistive Person, RN, or LPN
• BLS certification
• Travel experience preferred; minimum of 3 completed assignments
• Submission packets must include resume and skills checklist
• Experience in cardiovascular operating room preferred

Responsibilities:

• Organize and prepare case set-up prior to the start of surgical procedures
• Assist with circulating duties, including retrieving supplies and preparing patients
• Clean, assemble, operate, and care for surgical instruments and equipment
• Provide patient care according to diagnosis/procedure and hospital policies
• Document procedure changes and assist in stocking supplies
• Participate in quality monitoring and communicate unusual techniques or instruments needed for procedures
