Provide comprehensive nursing care to women during labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal recovery, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for patients and their families. Utilize specialized skills to manage both routine and high-risk obstetric and neonatal cases, collaborating effectively with the healthcare team. Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care in labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal recovery settings.
- Monitor fetal heart patterns and maternal vital signs to assess fetal and maternal well-being.
- Implement nursing interventions based on patient assessments and clinical protocols.
- Assist in labor management, including preparation for procedures and support during delivery.
- Stabilize and care for high-risk neonates, including initial assessments and ongoing monitoring.
- Document patient care activities accurately and maintain detailed medical records.
- Hold an unencumbered Oregon RN license.
- Possess Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification.
- Required certifications include AHA ACLS and NRP.
- Demonstrate basic fetal monitoring skills; previous experience with high-risk neonate stabilization is preferred.
- Experience in triage, labor, postpartum, or nursery nursing is essential.
