Sr. Gateway Platform Engineer

Salary: $88,000 - 128,000 per year Requirements:
- We require 8+ years of experience in enterprise application integration or API gateway engineering.
- We look for experience implementing or administering enterprise API gateway platforms.
- We require experience working in hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
- We require knowledge of API security, REST APIs, enterprise integration, production support, and infrastructure modernization.
- We prefer experience with one or more API gateway products such as Kong Enterprise, Google Apigee, IBM API Connect, MuleSoft, Azure API Management, AWS API Gateway, Red Hat 3Scale, Axway, or WSO2.
- We value skills with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, Zero Trust, TLS/SSL, Git, and Linux.
- We prefer a bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience.
- No clearance is required.
- We lead the engineering, modernization, implementation, and support of enterprise API gateway platforms.
- We support a large federal enterprise environment.
- We work across IRS enterprise environments in a hybrid or remote setting.
