Senior Tax Associate

Job Description A regional CPA firm on a strong growth track is adding a Senior Tax Associate to its team. - Balance that's built in: no billable hours to track, busy season capped at 55 hours a week, and a regular 40-hour week the rest of the year

- Variety in your work, with clients in manufacturing, distribution, construction, restaurants, real estate, and financial services
- Salary of $75,000 to $100,000, plus a 401K, health, dental, and vision coverage, and PTO Your Day to Day
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships
- Support tax planning and consulting work for clients across many industries
- Own client relationships and be their go-to for ongoing help
- Spot ways to save clients money on taxes and advise them on strategy
- Partner with firm partners and senior managers on more complex tax engagements
- Coach and develop junior team members
- Keep returns compliant with federal and state tax rules What It Takes
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- At least 1 year of tax experience in public accounting
- CPA is a plus but not a must
- Solid understanding of tax law and regulations
- Comfortable working on your own and with a team
